About the Authors
Kim Ebert-Colella
Kim has a deep passion for assisting people in embracing their mortality and living life fully. Kim ministered to both the elderly and teens as a Jesuit Volunteer; traveled to Calcutta to experience the work of Mother Theresa; joined a delegation of women to witness the AIDS pandemic in South Africa; and has assisted over 25 women in giving birth. Such experiences have fostered her awe and respect for each phase of life.
Kim received her BA in liberal studies, with a minor in psychology, from the College of St. Benedict and earned a Master’s in pastoral studies from Seattle University. Through her practice, Body Sacred Therapies, she uses therapeutic massage to help her clients connect to the sacred within. Kim makes her home in Tacoma, Washington with her husband and son.
Shannon Harder Ronald
Through Shannon’s business, Empowering Life, she provides professional organizing and life coaching to her clients. Her skills have been honed during her seven years as the Executive Director of a nonprofit organization and as a trainer for leaders in the nonprofit sector.
Shannon received a BS from Regis University in both accounting and business with a minor in psychology. She earned her Master’s in not-for-profit leadership from Seattle University.
While living with Inuit people in Alaska as a Jesuit Volunteer, Shannon spent a week with Elizabeth Kubler-Ross. This, along with further privileged experiences of walking with people as they die, has fueled her passion for living an authentic life. Shannon lives in Tacoma, WA with her husband and two children.
